Technovation Girls South Korea is the South Korean chapter of the global program Technovation Girls, a platform where girls aged 8 to 18 tackle social issues by developing innovative projects using technology. This program goes beyond a simple competition, offering a unique experience where future women leaders can cultivate their creativity and technical skills while making a real-world impact.

Program Details
Technovation Korea is an exciting initiative that empowers young women to become changemakers through technology. If you're passionate about solving real-world problems, Technovation Korea invites you to sign up and be part of this transformative program. Participants will work in teams to create mobile apps that address critical social issues, such as climate change, mental health, and education, with guidance from experienced mentors.

Age
Participants must be girls or gender minorities aged 10 to 18.
Team Composition
Teams can consist of 1 to 5 members.
Commitment
Teams must commit time to their projects, including workshops and training sessions.
Experience
No prior programming or app development experience is required.
Competition Timeline
Join the Technovation Girls Global Competition and take part in a transformative journey. While participation in the global competition is optional, many of our participants enjoy the challenge!
Technovation Girls Global Competition Timeline
The Technovation Girls South Korea program follows the global Technovation Girls timeline, with various activities taking place over approximately six months. From team formation and mentor registration to final project submission, participants grow step by step throughout the program. During the program, participants will engage in regular workshops and educational sessions. Through these sessions, they will learn app development skills, how to build a business model, and how to improve effective presentation skills.
Additionally, participants will gain practical experience by working on real-world projects under the guidance of mentors.
- October 11, 2024 - March 17, 2025: Team Formation and Mentor Registration
- March 18, 2025 - May 4, 2025: Project Development Period
- May 5, 2025: Project Submission: Deadline
- May - October 2025: Judging and Finals
Technovation Girls South Korea Regional Events
The Technovation Korea chapter will host regional events throughout the season. These events offer participants opportunities to:
